The Paper Tree
The Paper Tree
is a retail-based company owned and operated by Davao Unified Corporation (DUC).
The Paper Tree was established in May of 2004 in response to the market’s
need for more accessible and more affordable School and Office Supplies (SOS) stores
near schools in Davao City (Philippines). As of 2008, we are operating 8 stores
within Davao City – 7 of them near educational institutions - with The Paper
Tree Sta. Ana and Bolton branches as our flagship stores.
Our DUC Retail Store, which is located in Sta. Ana Avenue corner Alvarez Street
(near the Oceanic and Lorenzo Shipping Warehouses) offers personalized, assisted
shopping for wholesalers in and out of town. Wholesalers can leave their shopping
lists at DUC Retail Store and come back to pick them up after they are done with
their other buying activities.

Our Parent Company
Our parent company, Davao Unified Corporation (DUC), was founded in mid 1997 and
has since been a leading supplier of Paper, School and Office Stationery (SOS) for
the Mindanao area. Our business involves supplying dealers, printers, government,
schools, corporate and institutional clients with quality yet very competitively
priced goods and services. We regularly deliver for free to as far as Cagayan
de Oro, Surigao and the Cotabato regions. We cover most major towns and cities
in Mindanao except for the Zamboanga area. We also serve clients in the Visayas
region but with the freight costs handled by the clients.
Our unrelenting pursuit for constant improvement has led us to grow exponentially
over a relatively short period. We believe that the right people and good partnerships
with clients and suppliers have helped and will continue to help us drive growth,
excellence and value in the many years ahead.
